Meet Brian Lambert, Music Director
Brian is passionate about sharing the treasury of the Church’s liturgical music tradition with the students of CU Boulder.
An alumnus of CU, he received his undergrad in Music Composition and Economics in 2019. After school, he was a missionary with Christ in the City for two years before coming back to Boulder to serve the same program which formed him in the faith and in liturgical music in his undergrad. While loving the poor in Denver, he sang in the Holy Name Parish choir in Englewood under the direction of Angie Woods.
Brian Lambert is a member of the first class of masters students from the Catholic Institute of Sacred Music at St. Patrick’s Seminary, where he studies Sacred Music with Dr. Jennifer Donelson-Nowicka and Dr. Christopher Berry.
He studies organ with Gwen Blumenschein and is a member of the Church Music Association of America.
Brian also composes for the film production company Relic Films. His latest major release was a soundtrack for Radiating Joy, the Michelle Duppong Story, which you can watch on EWTN.org or stream on all platforms.
Though he looks really serious and professional in this picture, he’s really just a big nerd, and he loves reading, brushing up on his bench press, swimming in alpine lakes, hiking 14ers (yawn), playing drums and sax in his band Chariots and Charioteers, and laughing in the front row of his fiance’s comedy improv shows.
If you see him at Drogos, ask him his drink order, but then don’t let on how hard you’re judging him for it.
