Feed the Homeless


Feed the Homeless


Cook for the Boulder Shelter

3rd Friday of the Month | 4:30pm | Boulder Shelter

Join a small group of dedicated volunteers the third Friday of the Month preparing and serving a meal for the homeless at the Boulder Shelter. Typical arrival time is 4:30pm, but if you need you can come simply to serve the meal at 5:00pm! Volunteers need to register with the Boulder Shelter. 

4th Thursday of the Month | 5:00pm | Boulder Shelter

Join a small group of dedicated volunteers the fourth Thursday of the Month and serve a meal for the homeless at the Boulder Shelter. Because the meal has already been made, the start time is slightly more relaxed. Volunteers need to register with the Boulder Shelter.

Sandwiches for the Homeless

Wednesdays and Fridays | 10:00am | Church Kitchen

The group assembles in the Church Kitchen to support the work of Harvest of Hope pantry. They make around 25 dozen sandwiches a week to feed the homeless and underprivileged.

PRAYER OUTSIDE THE ABORTION CLINIC

Thursdays | 6:00pm | meet at the Church

Meet at the Catholic Center after the 5:10pm mass on Thursdays to carpool over to the abortion clinic where students and parishioners will join together in a one hour prayer vigil.

Volunteers can make donations of food or help with the set-up, decoration, and clean-up of the funeral reception. This is a tremendous support for families during a difficult time in their life.

Harvest of Hope

Harvest of Hope is Boulder's local food pantry, that serves the homeless and those with food insecurity (with or without kitchens) of Boulder. Live the Gospel call to provide for those in need. Volunteers assist shoppers, stock shelves, check-in clients, and help with the overall organization of the pantry. An application with Harvest of Hope is required.

FRIENDSHIP FRIDAY STREET WALKs

Every Other Friday | 6pm | Catholic Center

Spend your Friday night in the most fulfilling way…making friends with the people who need friends most. Engage with the homeless community on Pearl Street and celebrate with Cosmo’s Pizza afterwards. Meet at the Catholic Center after the 5:10pm mass on the specified Fridays.
