Meet Jeff Jasek

Jeff Jasek grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his parents and three siblings. From a young age, he developed a love for coffee. By the time he was a senior in high school, his drink of choice was black coffee. He went on to study economics at New Mexico State University where he gained his undergraduate degree. After graduation, Jeff’s love for the Lord led him to the seminary for four years. He studied at both Holy Trinity Seminary in Irving, Texas, and St. Mary’s Seminary in Houston, Texas. After discerning out of seminary in 2019, he went on to work for a parish and then later, a coffee shop. The advertisement for the position of Drogo’s Coffee Bar Manager immediately caught Jeff’s attention, as it is the perfect intersection of his two loves: Jesus and coffee.  Jeff  sees each encounter with a customer as an opportunity to be a Christ-like example in providing hospitality to others.

In his free time, he enjoys hiking the Flatirons, camping, fishing, and reading. You will often find him exploring local coffee shops.

Jeff says, “My patron saint is Saint Francis of Assisi. When I found out that he is one of the patron saints of the Archdiocese of Denver, it seemed like another sign of providence that I was being led to do ministry here in Boulder. I am grateful for this community because everyone has been so welcoming.”
