The Sisters of Life would to invite you to an event on Nov 6  at 7:00 pm at the Fiske Planetarium (CU Boulder)

The Gospel of the Stars: How the message of God's love is written in the heavens

Since the dawn of the human race, the cosmos has evoked a sense of awe and reverence. Ancient civilizations sought to encounter the Divine through the stars, building elaborate astronomical structures and complex astrological systems. St. Gregory Nazianzen said: "At the very moment when the Magi, guided by the star, adored Christ the new king, astrology came to an end, because the stars were now moving in the orbit determined by Christ." But the human fascination with the stars has not ended, nor have the heavens ceased "to proclaim the glory of God" (Ps 19a). Come spend an evening exploring the heavens at the Fiske Planterium with Sr. Mary Margaret Hope S.V. M.A. Astronomy (Harvard) and learn how we can still discover the God and His message of love through the stars.
