Being at Saint Thomas fuels me to be able to do everything that I do. I have learned how to make God the center of my life by doing everything for God. Even the little things like studying can be made into a little prayer. Our community encourages each other to be the best versions of ourselves, and getting to be around people who desire to know and love Christ more and more is my favorite thing about this community!
I am the Pro-life co-chair of COR here at Saint Thomas. I’m here to discuss and learn more about what it means to be Catholic and Pro-life. I get to host events such as discussions and prayer vigils to help our community learn why we are Pro-life and how we can reach out to the Boulder community. How we act is a huge part of being pro-life, and as the co-chair I hope to instill a greater respect for life from conception to natural death through prayer, greater understanding, and outreach in the community. We will be doing this by hosting prayer vigils, praying in front of the abortion clinic, doing morning rosaries around campus, volunteering in the Boulder area, and by taking a group to the March for Life. Working in the pro-life mission is one of my greatest passions, and I cannot wait to get to know and grow with all of you next year!
Now for a little bit about me. Everyone who knows me will tell you how much I love geeking out over books, music (especially classical!), and anything Star Wars! I’m a double major here at CU in Speech, Language and Hearing sciences as well as in Spanish. My dream is to be able to help people communicate and participate in this crazy world as either an Audiologist or a Speech Pathologist. My greatest joy comes from listening to people in order to help them feel heard and understood. In my free time, I love to read, play board games, play piano, and sing! If you ever want to talk Jane Austen or play a board game, I’m here!
