Chris Juliano, Annual Events
What I love most about my involvement in COR is that I am given the opportunity to serve the community around me through the unique position I hold as Annual Events Co-Chair. I am energized by the witness of joy, fun, and fellowship that is always so present at the events we host. Each person that I encounter through this ministry has a story, and I appreciate being able to be a part of the growth COR fosters through their ministry.
My specific role as Annual Socials Co-Chair is to envision, plan, organize, advertise, and host annual events in the community. I serve to provide the students of CU with opportunities for exciting, wholesome social interaction. I am very blessed to have this chance to implement Christian ideals into events in order to break the mold of what is expected of typical college social interaction in this day and age.
I grew up in Crystal Lake, a northwest suburb of Chicago. I moved to Boulder in 2013 to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering while enjoying campus ministry and performing in the drumline. With my decision to withdraw from school in late 2015, I am taking advantage of the opportunity to find a more desirable career path for myself. In the meantime, I work many hours for the Church and as a fry cook at a local restaurant. While back home in Crystal Lake, I gig around as a drummer for a steelband, and enjoy late night IHOP runs with my friends. If I am not working, cooking, or socializing with friends, it’s a safe bet that I am watching Netflix or browsing Spotify to rediscover the best of the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s.
