My name is Cameron Schimmoller, and I am the Vice President of the COR team for the 2017-2018 year. I am new to working on the executive team for COR, but I am most excited to find ways that I can to help the St. Tom's student ministries succeed to the best of their ability. The COR team allows for growth within the community but also allows for co-chairs to flourish in a ministry the Lord called them to, and I am glad that the Lord can use me to try to see that each ministry is successful according to His plan as well as help the growth of the co-chairs.
As the Vice President of the COR team, my job includes meeting with the Coordinator of Campus Ministry Matt Boettger and President of COR Conar Donovan to oversee how COR is doing as a whole. In these meetings, we will address problems within COR or that other St. Tom's ministries are having with COR, ideas to improve COR or certain events, and whatever else is needed to allow the different ministries to thrive. The president and I will also run the COR meetings with the co-chairs for the year, making sure that any problems, ideas, or projects that need to be addressed are taken care of and ensuring the different ministries have the tools they need to plan events for their ministry.
As for myself, I am a junior studying both electrical engineering and applied mathematics- and really praying that I can somehow do a classics minor. I love classical rock music, baseball (especially the Colorado Rockies, even if they aren't necessarily a good team), and books. In my free time, I enjoy messing around with electrical circuits, playing the ukulele, playing card or board games, and climbing/running/playing ball/anything outdoors.
